Achievements in sports and Games 2008-09
During the academic year 2008-09 our college Aquatic team (Men and Women) were the champions of the Kerala University Aquatic Championship.
Our College Athletic (Men) team were the champions of the Kerala University Athletic Championship.
Our College Cycling (men) team were the champions of the University Inter collegiate cycling men championship.
Our College cycling (women) team were the Runner-up of the Kerala University Inter Collegiate cycling women championship.

She was gold medal as an International Invitation Athletic Meet held at Srilanka. She also won the gold medal in 100 m. Hurdles in the All India Inter University Athletic Meet.

ACTIVITIES
OF THE COLLEGE UNION 2006- 2007
Hon. Minister for Electricity, Sri. A.K. Balan inaugurated
the College Union for 2006-07 on 7-12-06. Sri. Vinaya
Chandran, renowned Malayalam poet inaugurated the
Arts Club on the same occasion. Sri. S. Sumesh, Chairman
of the College Union Presided over the meeting. Sri.
B.M. Maneesh Welcomed the gathering. Felicitations
were offered by Prof. V.S. Lee, Principal, Sri. Kattayikonam
Aravindan, Dr. K.L. Vivekanandan, Prof. S.S. Baiju,
and Sri. Y. Appu, University Union Councilor offered
vote of thanks. There was a colourful arts festival
after the meeting.
The absence of College Union for the last three years
has affected the artistic development of the students
very adversely. But this year we could organize the
Arts fest excellently. The programmes presented by
the students were all of high standard. The best among
them were chosen to be presented in the University
Competitions at Cherthala.
The

magazine.

Kerala.
• A students’
awareness programme for job placement.
• Talks by eminent
personalities.
